Third Street Center

The Third Street Center in Carbondale, Colorado, grew from community collaboration. The Town of Carbondale swapped land with the Roaring Fork School District to acquire the former elementary school. Residents, nonprofit leaders, design professionals, and local officials then partnered to transform it into a nonprofit hub, which opened in 2010 and now houses nearly three dozen organizations, artists, and businesses.
